EPLAN develops one of the world's leading software solutions for electrical design in machine, plant and control cabinet construction. Since 1984, EPLAN has been a provider of software and services for all aspects of engineering in the fields of electrical engineering, automation and mechatronics and employs around 1,150 people in 50 countries worldwide. In order to be able to offer planning software for electrical engineering, data of various components used in machine, plant and control cabinet construction must be available - manually entered, this process takes up a lot of valuable employee time. Since efficiency is a guiding principle of EPLAN, the import of catalog data should be automated. T-Systems MMS implemented a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) service for this purpose.
Automating the import of catalog data.
Implementation of an RPA cloud service based on the Servicetrace X1 Robotic Solution.
Error-free, automated data import around the clock, giving employees more time for creative tasks instead of monotonous work.
