In the Corona pandemic, schools had to implement home schooling, i.e. virtual teaching, within a very short time. For this distance learning, teachers have to be able to convey the educational content to their students in a uniform and guaranteed manner using digital devices and appropriate software. The legal requirements, especially for data protection and secure use, are very high. At the same time, the infrastructure needed to guarantee the provision of virtual lessons was not yet available to the extent required. The ANTARES PROJECT GmbH is established among others at Hessian schools, universities and public media centers as a supplier of a distribution system for digital educational content. ANTARES enlisted the support of T-Systems MMS to set up a video conferencing system at schools in Hesse that would meet legal requirements and the needs of schools.
