Dresden (September 9, 2016) – A complete overview of the festival area per fingerprint on the smartphone, an individual reminder for upcoming event highlights, as well as a time travel through Dresdens city center before and after the Wende, meaning “The Turn”: In cooperation with the Saxon state chancellery the T-Systems Multimedia Solutions developed the official app “Tag der Deutschen Einheit 2016”. From now on visitors and guests have the opportunity to navigate through a wide range of events, presentations, on-stage-programs as well as relevant information concerning the Day of German Unity, the host federal state Saxony and the host city Dresden.
Today, Media Minister Dr. Fritz Jaeckel and the T-Systems Multimedia Solutions jointly presented and uploaded the app:
„During the Day of German Unity we expect hundreds of thousands visitors from all over the world and the app contributes a lot to the orientation and navigation of our guests during the celebrations”, explains Jaeckel. “Above all, this is due to the outstanding engagement and the know-how of T-Systems Multimedia Solutions and other supporters belonging to the Silicon Saxony network. The app is a further example for the professional work and the excellent networking within the Saxon information and communication industry.”
In recent months T-Systems Multimedia Solutions developed the app for Android and iOS devices with the support of Infineon Technologies AG, ApiOmat, the Advanced Mask Technology Center GmbH & Co. KG as well as the Domero Hotels.
