Already known as a provider of information and communications technology, the division continues to profile itself as one of Germany's leading operators in the area of multimedia. As well as listing the major firms operating in the market, the NMSR also points to long-term trends in development.

With the kind help of ARTE, T-Systems has succeeded in developing an innovative prototype "mediatheque". This provides access to more than just TV on the computer screen.

Honors awarded for the website set up by T-Systems Multimedia Solutions for BARMER health insurers include the Golden Bee and the "if communication design award".
