ProMarkt: An on-demand online shop

The task.

Specialist electronics retailer ProMarkt offers more than 20,000 electronics products and household appliances for sale via the Internet. Our task was to adapt the online shop to the changing demands of the e-commerce marketplace.

The solution.

In a joint venture with our partner Demandware, we at T-Systems developed a solution for a complete online shop. Catalogue and content management as well as marketing campaigns and analyses are managed entirely via the web. The online shop we implemented for Promarkt also saw the launch of the on-demand e-commerce solution from Demandware in Germany and across Europe. The pricing model is just one of the attractive features of an on-demand solution offering huge potential for the future. The customer does not pay for the shop solution but for its actual sales success.
