The solution.

Polizei-Online bases on an open service architecture. This includes content management, editorial, education management and collaborative tools. The educational administration, like demand assessment or the statistical analysis, is also done via Polizei-Online.

Customer Benefit.

Polizei-Online effectively implements knowledge transfer statewide among all police authorities. More than 30000 police officers use the eLearning portal to inform themselves about new laws and regulations. The integration of Polizei-Online into the classical training program helps to shift parts of the training into the workplace.

The PPP of the police and the public administration academy Baden-Württemberg with Deutsche Telekom AG, represented by us, proved that the Polizei-Online platform is a successful innovation project. The Blended Learning System of the police force Baden-Württemberg has been awarded with the European E-Learning Award 2006 (EureLeA).

Furthermore, the project has won 2nd prize in the category “Most efficient organization conception” at the 6th eGovernment award. This competition awards innovative organization concepts which have to support more efficient possibilities of networked working in the administration and with citizens and industry. The project Polizei-Online was also appreciated for the total integrative approach.
